Growing up in the heart of Alaska instilled a love of nature in me from a very early age, eventually leading me to Natural Science Illustration and Medical Illustration. I have found these fields to be a perfect blend of my passions.

Before departing Alaska, I earned my bachelor's degree in biology with minors in fine art and mathematics. I went on to attend the University of Washington a Professional Certificate in Natural Science Illustration. Today, I work as a professional Medical Illustrator and free-lance artist.

I live in the Seattle, Washington area with my husband and our two dogs. I am a big fan of fantasy and sci-fi, and in my free time I can often be found playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends.
